Precious time this is. My son is napping, and I've decided that this is the time to take the plunge and start up my new and affordable therapy program, The Blog. I needs me a little therapy these days, what with the price of gas and European facials and all.
So much pressure! I had no idea. I feel like I need to pee and I'm being watched. Nothing. Nope, nothing. Speaking of pee, my son and I went to Wal-Mart today and bought a little piece of China for him to pee into. Yup, the potty chair. He's 18 months and last night my friends the Noo noos came over and he shed his diaper and peed right there on the floor for us. We were all clapping and tearfully egging him on, telling him what a good, GOOD boy he is, that's right, little man, just let it go right there on the floor. Oooooooh, YAY PUNKIN!!! So now we have a chair, or a hat, not sure which. It was a hat right before nap. SO. Soooooooooooooo.
If you could all gather round now and cyber-egg me on, that'd be great. Ok. Oooooooo kaaaaaaaaaay.
Tap. Tap tap. Oh! After nap we're going to Kroger. That should be fun.
There are the thank yous - - that should take care of this first post. I'd like to thank you all for stopping in today, to welcome my new therablog. I'd like to thank The Association, and the lady in produce at Kroger who cuts up them nice Bartlett pears when FJ and I shop for fruit. Tasty. And I'd like to thank God for inventing the internet, because without Him and Al Gore, it wouldn't be here today. I DO like me some Al Gore, 'cept for the internet comment of yesteryear.
And lastly, I'd like to thank Blogspot for hosting me this year. It's a coveted space, and I. am. grateful. Power clap.
Love to you all in this bright beginning to a new year, filled with promises of hope, joy, potential and hope. And joy. Tomorrow I shall launch into this foray (is there a friggin spellcheck on this bad boy?) full force, so watch your backs, friends, the rythmn is gonna getcha. RUN! For the love of all that is holy, the RYTHMN IS COMING!!!
Ta ta, my loves.
